Films, TV shows and their soundtracks to look forward to this week.

This week, three note-worthy films are hitting UK cinemas. Out on Friday, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson stars as himself in Stephen Merchant's latest work Fighting with My Family. Underscoring Johnson's family adventures is composer Vik Sharma who has previously worked with Merchant on The Moaning of Life (2013), An Idiot Abroad (2010-2012) and Hello Ladies (2013-2014).
Friday also sees Keira Knightley in James Kent's latest flick, The Aftermath, which follows a British colonel and his wife in Hamburg during the post-war reconstruction. Underscoring the romantic drama is British composer Martin Phipps who has previously composed for two Black Mirror episodes as well as War & Peace (2016) and Peaky Blinders (2013). The soundtrack is not currently available.
And the final film to look out for this Friday is Elizabeth Chomko's What They Had. Starring Hilary Swank and Michael Shannon, the heart-wrenching drama is underscored by Danny Mulhern who is probably best known for composing for BBC drama Silent Witness (2012) as well as series such as Oxford Street Revealed (2014-2015) and The House That 100k Built (2015-2017).

Tomorrow, TV is all about the female composer! Coming to our small screens is the second series of BBC's Shakespeare & Hathaway - Private Investigators, the unusual crime investigating duo in Stratford-upon-Avon. Returning to underscore the series is British composer Debbie Wiseman who is probably best known for her work on BBC mystery Father Brown (2013-2019). The soundtrack is not currently available.
Also out tomorrow is the premiere of BBC's Warren, a comedy which follows the life of a pedantic driving instructor. Scoring the BBC's newest addition is award-winning British composer Nina Humphries who has previously worked on series In Plain Sight and Hunderby (2012). The soundtrack is not currently available.

And finally, out on Thursday is the seventh series of Sky One's British military intelligence show Strike Back. The series has been composed by a few different composers, but this time Scott Shields is continuing as composer but this time joined by British composer Paul Saunderson. Shields has previously worked on documentary The Borneo Case (2017) and TV movie The Kidnap Diaries (2012), while Saunderson has composed the score for recent TV series Cleaning Up (2019) as well as worked on highly popular Riviera (2017).
