It's a big day for cinema this Thursday. The fallen will be avenged in the final instalment of our favourite super group saga, Avengers: Endgame. To finish off the set how it started, American composer Alan Silvestri has returned to soundtrack the epic finale. Silvestri has a massive soundtrack catalogue and you may know his scores for Ready Player One (2018), The Walk (2015) and Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) as well as such classics as Cast Away (2000), Predator (1987) and Back to the Future (1985). The soundtrack is not currently available.

If you're not an Avengers fan, then you may instead be interested in Bo Burnham's Eighth Grade which follows Elsie Fisher who plays an introverted teenager battling through her final year of middle school. Underscoring the comedy drama is electronic musician and composer Anna Meredith who currently has little screen credits to her name, but we can only hope this is the beginning of a very prosperous future.
And finally, if you're looking for something a little more mature, then Paul Weitz' Bel Canto may be of more interest. Starring Julianne Moore as a world renowned opera singer trapped in a hostage situation, the musical drama is soundtracked by composer and music producer David Majzlin. Majzlin has previously worked on a wide array of small budget shorts and documentaries, let's hope there are more blockbusters like Bel Canto on the horizon.
